I love donuts, and I love New York City, and a good friend who knows this about me got me this incredible Donut Map of New York for my birthday. So last time I was there, I hit up this tiny little place in Soho called Bottega Falai. I couldn’t resist the custard donuts, I don’t know how I even held out long enough to take this photo.
I’ve been craving some greenery in this cold, snowy Boston winter, so I figured where better to look than a greenhouse. Snug Harbor Farm in Kennebunk has been on the list for awhile, so I visited one Saturday. Despite the snow outside, it was a balmy 75 degrees inside the greenhouses. The selection of plants, especially the succulents, was phenomenal. I’m making a mental note to stop back in the spring when I want to freshen up the plants on my deck.
