Since it’s summer, I have two goals on my brain: (1) be outside as much as possible, and (2) go places. Here’s some images of a quick trip to Cape Cod, and by quick, I mean we really had about 12 or so free hours to spend there in between my shooting schedule. I always have trouble figuring out where to stay on the Cape, but we really lucked out with these cute rustic little cottages in Eastham called Cottage Grove. Dan and I brought the bikes, and easily picked up the Cape Cod Rail Trail from there. We biked all the way down to the end of the trail in Welfleet, made a right at the end of the trail onto Lecount Hollow Road, and at the end of that, you have beautiful views of the Cape Cod National Seashore. We also walked the trails at Fort Hill (it’s supposed to have a lovely sunrise, though admittedly, we didn’t get up that early), and found a Mexican food truck called Sunbird on Route 6 that was amazing for a quick meal, because if there’s a taco within 10 miles, I will find it. Ahhh, summer, you make me so happy.
