After all the frigid temps this week, I think I need to just look at some photos of warmer days. Right before Christmas, Dan and I escaped to Charleston where it was a balmy 65 degrees. Amazing restaurants, the friendliest people, and with its pastel houses and palm trees it has lots of photographer eye-candy. And, thanks to nonstop flights on JetBlue, perfect for a short getaway from Boston. A few things we did:

1 Walking around the Historic District | 2 Crepes at Queen Street Grocery | 3 Shopping for bbq and hot sauce in the City Market | 4 Seeing the spooky remains of plantation life at Drayton Hall | 5 Shopping for quirky antiques at Curiosity
